Excalibur – The Bitter End – 1985
I should really enjoy Excaliburs EP The Bitter end because it’s just the kind of Heavy Metal that I enjoy. But it’s terrible dated and the production is really bad. That makes it almost impossible not to hate the sound quality of this album. Apart from that, I think the vocalist is surprisingly good. I usually have a hard time like vocalists. It’s not that they sing badly or anything, I just have a hard time liking voices. Especially in Metal. Usually Metal head are better instrumentalists than vocalists in my opinion.
