Anvil – Impact is Imminent – 2022

Anvil is one of those bands that has been around forever but never really gotten the recognition they deserve. I think that this has changed a bit in later years though. I really enjoyed their last album Legal at Last. Of course, I realize that that is a horrible way to start a review. But I can’t help it, Impact is Imminent is just not an album that suits my ears. There are not enough catchy melodies and it gets kinda boring really fast. But I have to give it to them, there are no compromises here. They do what they always do, they record what they feel like is right and I must commend them for that. It’s raw heavy metal and if you’re really into it I suggest you check out this album. It wasn’t really my thing though.
